Paolo Sorrentino lotta contro 75 registi per candidarsi all'Oscar 2013

Una dura battaglia è quella che attende Paolo Sorrentino, candidato italiano in lizza per essere candidato agli Oscar 2014. "La grande bellezza" dovrà vedersela con 75 film, per entrare nella rosa delle 5 candidature come miglior film in lingua non inglese del 2014. Impresa che non riesce al nostro paese dal 2005.

Il regolamento prevede che si possa candidare un solo film per paese, per potersi confrontare con un panorama culturale il più variegato possibile. Mai come in questa edizione degli Oscar, però, ci si era trovati  di fronte a numero cosi grande di candidati (5 in più della scorsa edizione).
